Fisher House Southern California Receives $50,000 Stater Bros. Charities Hero of the Heartland Award

Fisher House Southern California is honored to announce that Stater Bros. Charities awarded a $50,000 Hero of the Heartland grant in support of military and veteran families served through Fisher House Camp Pendleton.

The Hero of the Heartland program recognizes organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout the communities served by Stater Bros. Markets. This generous investment will help ensure that military families can remain close to their loved ones during times of medical need while staying at Fisher House Camp Pendleton.

Located aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Fisher House provides a comfortable “home away from home” for families of active-duty service members, retirees, and veterans receiving medical care. By eliminating lodging costs, Fisher House allows families to focus on what matters most—supporting their loved ones during treatment and recovery.

The $50,000 grant will support ongoing improvements and operational needs at Fisher House Camp Pendleton, helping maintain a welcoming environment for the families who rely on the house each year.

Fisher House Southern California extends its sincere gratitude to Stater Bros. Charities for their continued commitment to strengthening communities and supporting those who have served our nation. Their generosity directly impacts military and veteran families facing some of life’s most challenging circumstances.

Partnerships like this make it possible for Fisher House Southern California to continue providing comfort, care, and support to military and veteran families throughout Southern California at no cost to them.

We are deeply grateful to Stater Bros. Charities for recognizing the importance of keeping families together during medical crises and for investing in the well-being of those who have sacrificed so much in service to our country.
